KICL has a dormitory available in order to ensure that all of our students can live safely starting their first day in Japan.
There are a limited number of rooms available. If you would like a dormitory room, please let us know when you apply to the school.
Please note that the dormitory contract is typically for one semester only. ※In the instance where you are unable to enter the dormitory accommodation because the capacity has been exceeded or you have to leave after one semester, please rest assured that the school will introduce you to rental agencies. These agencies will help you find a suitable accommodation that meets your desired conditions (rent, location, security etc).

Förfarande för att komma in på studentboendet

  1. Please apply using the dormitory application form at the time you apply to the school.
  2. Dormitory results will be decided and announced after the application for Certificate of Eligibility.（ End of June, End of November ） Please pay tuition and dormitory fees by the specified date.
  3. When you arrive in Japan, senior students will explain the dormitory rules.

  • You may not be able to move in when the room is full.
  • Students entering the dormitories should come to school on the date and at the time specified.

Om du får boendekontrakt på egenhand

  • To find a room or flat independently, you can use a real estate agency or contact one of the school affiliated real estate agencies. We also offer support in Chinese, English, Thai, and Korean.Generally, when entering a contract for a room, a guarantor in Japan is required. However, there is also an option for an international student to use the "Foreigner Solidarity Guarantee (Paid)", in which case, a guarantor is not required.
  • Till att börja med när du söker efter ett rum, rådgör med KICL. Vi kan förklara vad du behöver tänka på när du söker efter ett rum, gå i borgen för dig som elev och presentera våra samarbetspartners. När du går till en fastighetsmäklare ska du vara noga med att på ett korrekt sätt förmedla dina intentioner och under vilka villkor du söker efter rum, inklusive närliggande tågstationer och den summa du kan betala, vilken storlek på lägenhet som du söker, samt andra krav du kan tänkas ha. Efter en första inspektion av ett rum kan du helt enkelt säga nej om du inte tycker om det. Det finns inga kostnader involverade i att se på ett rum.
  • Om du hittar ett rum som du tycker om kan du ingå ett hyreskontrakt. Att underteckna ett sådant kontrakt betyder att du till fullo förstår och accepterar kontraktets innehåll. Var därför noga med att du säkert förstår innehållet innan du undertecknar det.
Pengar som krävs för att genomföra ett kontrakt
Deposition Depositionen är cirka 1-3 månadshyror. En del av den här summan kan återbetalas när kontraktet avslutas.
Nyckelpengar Den här summan betalas till hyresvärden som en tacksamhetsgest. Nyckelpengarna är inte återbetalbara.
Agenturavgift När kontraktet är undertecknat betalas den här avgiften till fastighetsmäklaren som presenterade rummet för dig. I allmänhet är det samma summa som en månadshyra.
